15 Plumbing and Heating
The pipeline of the building is like the blood vessel of the human body, conveying the fluid needed for the operation of the building. Plumbing technicians must demonstrate the ability to design, recognize, and draw pipeline schematics. They must be able to safely and accurately construct, install, and repair pipes, thereby ensuring the normal operation of end-terminal equipment in buildings, factories, ships, and other constructions.
Career prospects: Construction plumbing include water and electricity, heating, refrigeration and air conditioning, gas pipes, and fire prevention equipment; industrial plumbing include petrochemical applications, shipbuilding, underground piping, underwater piping, and piping systems in other industrial equipment.
